High diving from helicopter
With extreme cliff diving, divers are entering water at about 100 km/h. Not enough for you ? Well, I think you should try extreme helicopter diving then…
Any hesitation ? Orlando Duque, the Colombian diving champion, had none. See by yourself in this video.
The sky is the limit now
Inspired Bicycles – Danny MacAskill
Filmed over the period of a few months in and around Edinburgh by Dave Sowerby, this video of Inspired Bicycles team rider Danny MacAskill features an amazing collection of street/street trials riding. There’s some huge riding, but also some of the most technically difficult and imaginative lines you will ever see.
I also love the song ‘The Funeral’ from Band of Horses.

Xavier de Le Rue caught in an avalanche
March 29, 2008 2 pm, somewhere in the Swiss Alps…
Xavier de Le Rue, snow cross triple world champion, is doing a great ride in the beautiful light of a warm sun, when suddenly… Snow begin to rush around him. In the helicopter, Henrik Windstedt can do nothing but watch…
The rider from Saint-Lary is found 2 kilometres further. Thanks to his ABS backpack, he has been able to stay on top of the 6 metres high avalanche.
It’s been a close call…
Here’s what Xavier has to say about it :
It’s been a close call, as close as it could pretty much get and a great example for all riders to remind what the other side of the coin can look like. There are times where having the gear (beacon transceiver, probes, shovel, mountain guide, ABS backpack…) and the best technique doesn’t help much anymore. Good to keep that in mind for future session.

Alain Robert : The french Spiderman
Do you suffer from vertigo ? Alain Robert does. But this does not keep him from climbing the world’s tallest structures using only … his bare hands. Known as the french spiderman, he started his carreer as a solo rock climber, before entering a urban climbing carreer. Now 46, and despite 7 accidents, he continues climbing to raise awareness towards global warming and other humanitarian causes.
The video presented here is an extract from his movie : “the legend of the french Spiderman“, that you can watch on vodeo (in french).
Alain Robert also have his official channel on Dailymotion, where you can find more videos about him.
Jean-Yves Blondeau is “Rollerman”
Jean-Yves Blondeau first conceived of his plastic 31-wheel inline skating body suit in 1994, while he was a student in Paris. 14 years later, it has received a lot of improvements, and Jean-Yves “Rollerman” Blondeau is now able to reach 110 km/h using his suit on open roads. It’s now a sport named Buggy Rollin.
A huge community of fans is waiting for the sell of the first commercial buggy-rollin’ equipment, which could happen within a few months.
You can find more videos of Rollerman skating down moutains on his official channel on youtube.
