Samsung Magic Unboxing (WB1000)
Surfing the trend of high-tech blogs publishing unboxing video, Samsung offers another creative and impressive ad for the Magic.
Philips Carousel
A truly amazing video directed by Adam Berg for the promotion of a 21:9 screen LCD by Philips.
On Philips Cinema, you can watch this 2:19 long short movie in high definition and with some add-on scenery, with comments from the director. Thumbs up to Tribal DDB and Stink Digital for this campaign, and the smart way to draw attention and traffic to Philips website.
Edit : You may also find these “behind-the-scene” comments on this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0MjC4mh0aw
Samsung HD camera trick challenge
This clip was shot in one take, with no post production or special effects of any kind, with a new Samsung phone . Everything you see here was done “in-camera”. The challenge proposed by Samsung is to figure out how they did it.
After the sheep LED art, we can say that Samsung is definetely creative for their web presence.
The Big Ask
On August 10, more than 6.000 people volunteered for the making of “The Big Ask” movie in Ostende (Belgium). This movie demonstrate that Belgium too are concerned by the global warming.

Extreme sheep LED art
The least we can say is that this funny video (made by The Viral Factory for Samsung) got viral. It reaches the top of every viral chart within a few days.
It is really amazing, and a lot of people were wondering if there was any fake in it. It seems not.
But I still wonder : does it make any good to Samsung ?
405, the movie
This is an old one (2000), probably one of the first viral video I have seen.
I remember I was very impressed when I discovered that Bruce Branit and Jeremy Hunt have been able to do 405 the movie on their own personal computers. All the information about this incredible movie is in the FAQ of the 405 website.
High Five Escalator
Improv Everywhere decided to fight morning crappy mood at the subway station at 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue.
Well, this video doesn’t worth more than a smile.
But it’s enough.
Coca-Cola Heist
The insect kingdom bands together to perform an elaborate heist of a Coke from a napping picnicker.
This ad, directed by Wieden+Kennedy agency was made for the last Superbowl.
Ikea Germany 3D cover campaign
The Ikea catalogue is the third most printed publication worldwide (after the Bible and Harry Potter) if we believe this video. So only stars deserves to be the cover model of an Ikea catalogue. That was the idea of Jung von Matt advertising agency who recreated the exact living room of the 2008 catalogue cover, and offer people to be photographed and printed on a personnalised catalogue.
The music “Hide and Change” is from a german studio : Stylophon.
The full credit for this award-winning campaign can be found on The Inspiration Room.
The T-mobile Dance
I wonder why, but dancing often makes a good buzz (think “evolution of dance” or “where the hell is matt” for example). Is it because we feel happy when we see it ?
Anyway, thumbs up to this T-mobile advert in London Liverpool Street Station.
